After Joe Calzaghe beats Hopkins, what will the haters excuses be?

well i'm one of the Hopkins gr8 fans...and nah i figure if he willen to take the fight...NO EXCUSES ...Joe aint too young himself tho...it wont b cause he old..itl b cause he changed his style too much or simply cause Joe had a better gameplan...if Joe wins does that make him the better boxer...mmm not really necessarily some fighters have their good and bad dayz..just happens..for the record tho...i wont use the too old excuse...mayb tho the judges were wrong excuse tho...lol

Exactly, b-hop is ancient and is the only reason I'm worried he might lose.

Well I cant speak for the other people... but I think joe put himself in a predicament.... if bernard beats you... a 43 yr old beat you... if joe beats bernard... he beat a 43 yr old boxer... and those arent excuses those are actual facts...
I for one kinda hope joe wins... cuz i want him to fight roy.

Hopkins is a dinosaur.. he had a rough as time with Winky who is much smaller then him and had to head butt his way to a victory.

Those lists are supposed to be based on the current p4p.

What will all the haters say? All these ppl are picking hopkins to win, after Calzaghe beats hopkins are all those same haters going to say that he only beat hopkins because hopkins is old? I bet you they will even though they're there same users picking hopkins to get the upset.

Hopkins is too old, and he is not even close to the fighter he once was.
He has little shot to beat Joe, and if he gives Joe alot of trouble, it shows more about how good Calzaghe REALLY is.

Im not sure how long you have been a fan of boxing or researched it online, but EVERYONE, and I repeat, EVERYONE, knows that boxrec is not even close to a credible source.

And that Hopkins is there is more of a technicality, beating Tarver and Wright (two higher profile names than JOe has ever faced in his entire career) puts him in that position, even if his age and actual skill level do not accuretly represent his position on the p4p list.

Not just Ring Magazine, but a lot of individuals as well have Hopkins rated above Calzaghe, and the thing is, and 90% of those people that say Hopkins should be rated higher, and he is going to win, say, "Even if he loses, B-Hop is old, he would have beaten him 6 years ago"
