i just cant believe these so called "educated fight fans" are making these assumptions from watching a sparring video. its ****ing incredible. thank god these dudes arent boxing fans. atleast sherdog has some sensible posters though. alot of people repeating the same **** over and over which ignorant idiots keep ignoring. MMA: Silva > Jones Boxing: Jones > Silva

someone post a link to this thread in that thread so idiots like SUPERBiRDUS can realize that he may be one of the ******est people to ever plug in a phone line to a modem.

These ****sticks simply don't understand what they are talking about, because the majority of these MMA guys posting up these boards are pre-pubescent cum stains who aren't out of high school yet. The majority of them also got started in the sport, or started as a fan, because other kids at school talked about it.

Any older MMA devoted fighter, amateur or professional, wouldn't waste his time in such a thread. The only type of induvidual who would, is, quite simply, a child.

If some pro-mma guy were to make a thread in our forum, talking about how much a MMA fighter would squash a pro boxer if they were to compete in an MMA environment, frankly I wouldn't give a ****..because I know boxers have the upper hand, why?

Because if a MMAer gets in a boxing ring, it's a guaranteed loss for em, provided both guys are of equal talent. Let that boxer get into the MMA environment, and he has a chance of getting a win via knockout. Granted, it's a small chance, but a bigger chance than a MMA fighter has in a boxing ring, I guaran-****ing-tee you. Knowing that, I'll just smile and keep my mouth shut, and let the pawns squab it out while I just watch.

Like Ive said, I could see Silva becoming a tier 2 boxer. But he would have to concentrate on just Boxing alone for at least 2 years and build his way up. I DO agree that there is no possible way to transition DIRECTLY from MMA to Boxing and be successful.
dude why are you putting down FNF????? FNF has some solid talent. Anderson would not be able to beat an average boxer. I can list dozen of boxers great boxers that came up on FNF. I think almost every boxer in one point of their career has been on FNF.
