Is Pacquiao Your #1 P4P if he Beats JMM?

For me, he's clearly the #1 fighter in the sport if he wins. He'll be adding his third lineal title and he'll have fought three great fighters to earn each of those titles. His resume is so much better than anyone else's in the game today besides DLH. Pacquiao has taken on all comers and never backed down from a tough fight.

If he wins in a close decision I wouldnt really place him at #1. But if manages to stop or dominate JMM I will without a doubt place him #1

He'll have a serious argument to be considered number 1.

He wont fight Guzman, Arum is scared to make that fight happen. He used the lame excuse that Guzman was playing around too much in his last fight.

I have Pac at #3 right now, behind PBF and Calzaghe. If Joe beats Hopkins, he'll remain #2, regardless of what Pac does against Marquez. If, however, Joe loses to B-Hop, then Pac can move to #2, provided he can beat JMM.

Mayweather is just heads and shoulders above everyone and Pac would have to destroy JMM, Guzman, and Nate Campbell or Joel Casamayor to move to #1 in my book.

The funny thing with Pac haters is, they all ***** and moan about how Morales and Barrera were "shot" when Pac fought them. I didnt see anybody claiming Morales was "shot" when he beat Pac the first time. Ask youself this.....Who made them "shot" fighters? Thats right..Pac did. I have nothing but praise for both Mexican legends, but this **** about Pac beating them because they were shot, has to stop. Pac is the one who sent them into retirement!. For the record, im rooting for JMM in the rematch. So, NO! Im not a Pac nuthugger. If Pac beats JMM in a brutal/decisive manner, i will put him #1. He would've dispatched of all 3 Mexican Legends.

If Pac were to beat JMM he would have a good shot at the number one spot, unless Joe Calzaghe wins impressively. Until Floyd gets beat or really retires he stays number one, but those guys could make very good cases if they were to win impressively though.

lol get real. you're turning a blind eye to pac's achievement. he's been tearing thru several divisions in a brutal manner and been consistently at #2 on most experts list while a few ppl only put joe in the top 5 after he beat kessler, on some he's in 6-10.

And Calzaghe has dominated his division for over a decade......

Pac is #3 right now, behind PBF and JC, if he can stop JMM or win a virtual shut out, he MAY move above Calzaghe, but only if he puts in a truly inspired performance. As for #1, never. The only man who can take #1 off PBF, without Floyd losing or retiring, is Calzaghe, and that is only if he can outclass Hopkins severely before stopping him. Not likely to happen, but if it did, you wouldn't really have much choice but to place him at #1 when you compare the recent performances to Floyds.
