So beating Cotto doesn't do anything for Oscar's legacy who isn't even as great as Floyd, yet Floyd has to fight Cotto for his greatness.

    Lmao....Does that even make sense?

Oscar has many, many fighters on his resume better than Cotto. Floyd is THE best available fight for him. Floyd cant fight himself...might as well fight Cotto.

Why should he fight a fighter in Winky who is boring AND is nowhere near as big as Mayweather?
I think Winky gives Floyd all he can handle and might pull out a decision. Certainly he will look better then Oscar did. I also think that Floyd earned a shot at the big money against Oscar and cashed in on that shot.

Sure he would do it again to make more money BUT so would Winky, Forrest, Cotto, Malinaggi. In that aspect, Floyd is no different.

It's Oscar who is calling the shots and Winky after all these years deserves a shot at Oscar and it would benefit Delahoya's legacy as well if he were to beat Winky.

I just rewatched the interview that Floyd gave to Larry after De La Hoya.

He did not offer a rematch.

This is an honest question: How many fighters who beat Oscar offered him a rematch pretty much right after the fight?

Yea but who has he beaten in their prime? A large majority of fans now all agree that Floyd will be a Top 20 all-time great even if he retired today and Oscar won't.

So how is it that that Floyd MUST face a young Cotto who isn't even Top 5 and not worth Oscar's time according to 2501?

Doesn't make sense and I'm exposing the flaw in 2501's thought process.

"Me and Oscar together, we made the fight and we saved boxing," Mayweather said.

"I could have danced around and boxed circles around him. I wanted to give the fans a hell of a show."

all you're doing is solidifying my posts and exposing your hypocrisy.

answer this question honestly and i swear ill answer any question YOU ask honestly.

Floyd already beat Oscar so who is left for Floyd to fight?

Floyd is the best fighter available for Oscar to fight. This is true for any fighter within weight-range of welterweight, as Floyd is p4p #1.

Cotto is the best fighter available for Floyd to fight at his own weight.

Off the top of the head I don't know that, I would need to look it up. All I know is that Mosley fought him against and was willing to fight Oscar for a third time but didn't because Oscar was too greedy to let him have 50% of the split.

Imagine that, a triology that doesn't even warrent a triology. And Mosley went for the lesser money against the better fighter in Winky Wright and lost.

Something Oscar has yet to do.
