lol,,,,he's been decked and hurt by cruisers who dont hit half as hard as wlad yet haye will walk through him. one left hook or right hand on haye's chin or temple and he's in a comaComment

they were heavyweights and do you think haye could absorb what brewster and purrity absorbed to come back to stop an exhausted wlad. not a chanceComment

no the point is that he told another poster he should go watch the fight when his post made it obvious he has never seen anything more than the 30 second youtube highlight of wlad going down. which is inexcusable.
wlad was never badly hurt, he was exhausted plain and simple
he took that fight (a 12 rounder) after fighting 3 weeks previous, he was overtrained coming in at 225 pounds.. he was 22 years old and had never been past 8 rounds. his management underestimated purittys granite chin, they were foolish enough to think he could easily stop a man who took 10 rounds of bombs from a prime tommy morrison, and who also dropped morrison twice.Comment

[ok, just so that we can see that i am right and you and jim lampley are wrong
watch this video at the 530 mark when klitchko corner enters the ring while the ref is standing around and most definately not stopping the fight himself
maybe you can go request it in the video trading forum if you think i doctored the footage.Comment

Wlad may get it, doubt he will get it from Haye though, if haye really thinks he can stroll around the ring throwing unbalanced shots against wlad whilst holding his left hand by his waist, he needs a reality check. Haye is made for Wlad, he couldnt miss with that right hand. Haye would have a punchers chance.Last edited by Technical_Skill; 03-13-2008, 06:04 AM.Comment

Puritty has fought everyone (Morrison, Johnson, Rahman, Grant, Sanders, Donald, Byrd, both Klitschko's, Dimitrinenko, Chambers) and has only been KO'd 3 times (twice early in his career, once by Vitali).
A 40 year old Thompson vs a 6'3, 250 lbs Puritty who comes to fight, I'd take Puritty.
Klitschko may have quit (not sure if he did) against Puritty but since that fight he has always gotten up after being knocked down. I wouldn't call him a quitter.Last edited by TheGreatA; 03-13-2008, 05:42 AM.Comment
