if you could go pro would you?

While I was reading various threads about the upcoming mega fight between andrew hartley and charlie zelenoff I thought to myself "how hard can it be to become a pro boxer"

Anyway I was wondering if you had the chance to go pro would you take it and why?

personally I would love to go pro (but It wont happen) because I would love to fight with a crowd watching me and I think the tag "pro boxer2 sounds really impressive.

I'm not knocking him because it takes an INSANE amount of courage to step between the ropes.

BUT, I have too much pride to allow myself to fight without knowing that I'm 100% ready and can perform to the best of my abilities. When I fight, I fight to win.

And you'd be a dumbass to allow someone to make money off of you by exploiting your inexperience and lack of skill. I guess making a few bucks means more to some people than placing yourself in the best possible situation to succeed.

i would if i knew i would beat others without a scratch on my face. but your always going to have real battles, unless your mayweather.
boxing is such a tough sport..i wish others can jump in the ring, and experience what its like for themselves.

nah, i am to old nowadays, and got into the sport seriously too late. i played football, and wrestled in college, and started boxing after graduation, even though i been a huge fan because of my pop since i was 10 yrs old! i would like to become a pro referee though, and have been inquiring as to how to go about it!
