    Is ducking a punch illegal?

People have criticized fighters before for ducking forward in order to slip a punch. Is that illegal or does it have to do with how long your head is down there, which would take away a follow up shot?

Ive been wondering about that too.
Is there a rule about how low you can duck your head? Ive seen some go so low it looks like there would be some sort of rule..

I called Librado Andrade, and he told me that ducking punches was definitely illegal.

You can't duck your head below your opponents waist line.

That's actually what I was thinking of when I made the topic, but I figured there was a blanket rule about it.
