    Re-watched Calaghe-Lacy,Kessler

I gotta tell you, i am not sure why he is hated so much! I mean the guy does some unreal **** in the ring. he use angles as well as anyone i have seen. his infighting against both kess, and lacy (more so lacy) was great. i actually think that will help him a ton against bhop, and no one is really talking about joe's inside game, only bhops, but that is a big mistake. bhop wont bully joe around the ring, and will have his hands full inside more than he ever has b4. i think this is gong to be bhops biggest challenge minus jones! we all know joe has great speed, but he has much more! his chin is very sturdy, his foot work is superb as well which is rarely mentioned. all everyone ever says is he slaps, and his resume sucks. if he did not have the hand issues i think he would be a monster, and i don't see a reason 4 all the criticism! yes he has bad hands, but he still dominates his opponents easily. he comes with many different facets of the game, and is very smart in the ring. very smart. the more i see of him the more i feel bad for the haters looking past such a great boxer who has been dominant, and a great champion. he is not going to be around much longer, and i will enjoy all his final fights. i am not talking about resume ****, but his boxing! he is still undefeated since being professional. the guy flat out wins! he is very underrated, and his style and assets would be alot for anyone to handle!

Nice to hear some respect for Joe from across the pond. Whenever I hear someone diss Joe I usually ask them to watch the Lacy & Kessler fights then re-evaluate. The doubters are gonna get a surprise come the 19th of April.

Don't mean to brag but i have mentioned Calzaghes inside game. It seems to me as this is one area that Hopkins is banking on, but i see no advantage there for him, Calzaghe is a superb inside fighter and always manages to get accurate shots off in the clinch.

I can see Hopkins getting very fustrated coming into round 5 when he realises there is no way for him to beat Calzaghe.

Im not a doubter at all. I like Calzaghe, think he's a great established fighter. Fights from awkward angles and make its hard for opponents to get there shots off. I'm just a fan of Bhop and seeing he's the underdog I think he can pull it off, with his southpaw experience and great lead right. I expect a good gritty fight. Problem with this forum is there are some people across the ocean that blatently dissrepect BHOP as a fighter and think Calzaghe is a Towering God Of Boxing. I don't really agree with that.

Calzaghe's one of the best fighters of my era, i don't know about the rest of you. RJJ would take Joe's '0' IMO.

The Lacy and Kessler performances were the two best by any boxer in the past five years, excepting maybe a few of Mayweather's fights.
