..OSCAR DE LA HOYA: The Ring Cover Boy...

That's the cover of one of the upcoming Ring Magazines. The question I have, I guess, is if you think he's deserving of the spot. Or, is it a sign of Golden Boy TRULY owning the publication? Discuss. Vote.

Vazquez-Marquez should be on the cover.

anything other than Vazquez and Marquez would be a complete travesty and disrespect to the sport of boxing.

He deserves to be on the cover as much as David Hasselhoff's hairy body deserves to be on Baywatch.

I believe he's serious about his retirement this year so I guess it's cover worthy after all the PPV's.

Especially considering his next loss will be his last fight.

Are their more deserving fighters/fights to make cover? Yes. But Oscar's last fights are big news, at least for casual fans.

Oscar losing 3 of his last 5 fights and still considered top 10 pound for pound by other writers and ofcourse the number 1 in his division..

Well to be fair this covers February. I'd might have Quintana or Pavlik Taylor II on there, but DLH is a huge superstar with a fight coming up.

                  It's fair.

The Ring has constantly put more popular guys on the cover instead of guys more worthy for the hardcore fans.

Even after the acquisiton of The Ring by GBP, the articles have not been very pro-Oscar. They still criticize him regardless.
