Your right we should believe you over Dan, I mean he only works as lead writer for ESPN/boxing.

      stop twisting my words.

I am just saying they exaggerate the numbers, boxing is corrupt they love to do such things man.

don't let them pull the wool over your eyes.

When ufc gets 400k plus ppvs I believe it cause I can pass by any mall and pass by the bars, sushi bars, hip bars, steak bar and grills, sports bars and they will have ufc posters and the joint will be jam packed with young white guys and hot white girls watching when you tap into the white demographic thats how you know something is mainstream and IN and hip right now.

I know about target market buddy and most people who watch boxing are old, and either too poor to afford ppv, while ufc did a smart thing it targeted upper to middle class whites, something boxing neglected.

I know alot of young people who enjoy boxing, I've gone to bars to see fights and the people aren't as old as your making them out to be.

Your an Idiot if you don't believe the numbers for boxing but do the UFC, Dave Meltzer did the year end numbers for both sports. Why would he be biased?

Which numbers are the ones that were exaggerated?

If anything I would believe the Boxing numbers more because usually someone from HBO releases them instead of them being leaked by the UFC which doesn't.

The PPV will probably do over 400k and your little theory about "Poor" fans are dumb generalizations and ****** stereotypes you keep making about ********** who enjoy boxing.

You should probably stop making threads because you are quickly becoming the joke of this forum.

dude, u know so little about the fight game and its business, both for UFC and Boxing, that is pathetic.

U going by jsut posters and bars for you 250,000 buys estimation is absolute proof, and ever other ****** comment u make.

Dan Rafael is ALWAYS right when he gets these estimations because he gets them from people involved in the counts. It will probably do over 400,000 because as they keep counting the more they get.

Dan Rafael isnt "corrupt" lol. He is a boxing writer, he gets paid to tell it like it is. Thats why he has his job.

Dude, you REALLY need to shut up already cause you know so little, yet u talk like whatever u say is fact

I would like to point out that both Harrison Ford and Nick Cage were sent special invitations to the MMA event. they didnt go on their own free will. lol. I could see Barry Bonds and Keanu Reeves going though. Both that kind of person.

Still, doesnt come close to the high end celebs that appear at every single major boxing match so... it sprobably time u just stopped talking...

Like i said earlier, Dan Rafael gets official estimations from trustworthy sources, and when he gives these estimations he is correct o 100% of the time. His estimations pre-fight are often wrong, but post-fight is always correct. U can count on the numbers being probably 380,000 or more.

Ya you probally do know more bout UFC then me because I am a TRUE BOXING FAN.

I know about the target market though cause I go out every night when there is a fight to go pick up food for the fight and I pass by the hip sports bars and they dont show boxing last one they show was floyd vs hatton.

I passed by this saturday before the fight at around 7pm cause I live a few minutes away from the mall to pick up some howies pizza and 60 piece sushi roll platter I reserved and guess what no one was caring about a pacquiao vs marquez fight....the only people who asked was some old filipino guy he didnt even fit in with the Frat boys and paris hilton hip chicks that go to that sports bar.
I felt bad for the old guy and his family I told him you should maybe look at a filipino resteraunt or something to watch it.

UFC is the fastest growing sport the general public especially white america need to feel they have a tough guy to look up to! the reason why many whites dont watch boxing is because they were consider a joke in it, now ufc came along and the young white teens can look up to some white champions and feel badass now.

                Learn about marketing Demographic man.
