Its not Mayorga thinking he has a chance, its Don King trying to make money. Ricardo Mayorga would probably do anything for Don King, for the fact that Don King gave him the oppertunity to financially secure him and his family. If Don wants him to fight Taylor for a few million Im sure Ricardo would look at it as he owes it to him, and any championship goals at lower weights just goes on the back burner.

Is it in Ricardo's best interest? Absolutely not, but like fighters before such as Julio Cesar Chavez and Mike Tyson, I think they are loyal to him because Don King put that money in their pocket. Jermaine and his team are the ones who looks bad for even considering another 154lber for a fight when he is now at super middleweight.

i think it will be entertaining, and I'll be betting on Mayorga if the odds really are 10-1, thats a huge payoff. haha Imagine that thou, RJJ fights winner and Mayorga wins. A Scared Roy verse and Free Swinging Mayorga, trash talking would be almost as halarious as the fight.

im ok with it. its like a bounce back fight for JT. why do a tune up with a unknown when you can do with with a dude who's last 3 fights have done more than 1.5 mill ppv buys.

This is a ****ing joke. Taylor deserves an easy opponent sure, but this is nuts. Mayorga is no push over, sure, but he should not be fighting Taylor. He deserves a tune up as well!

Wow, Mayorga is a true warrior. He has no business in the ring with Taylor, but he'll fight anyone.

Mayorga will give JT a run for his money. By no means will he be blown off, but JT better hope he doesn't get caught flush
