well technically we all know taylor is the better boxer, a blind man can see that, but mayorga has a puncher's chance and he will jump on jermaine if he can't take the shots due to his chin he is done mayorga will finish him,
if this does happen, taylor will have the advantage anyway you look at it,
size,height,weight,skills....mayorga will gas out but i wouldn't count him out either

At what weight is this scenario of Mayorga beating Taylor reasonable? He already said he can't make 160 so how is it fair to judge him on that or any weight below that?

mayorga has no chance n hell. he doesnt even have a punchers chance. KOing Vernon Forrest at WW 4 years ago doesnt give you a punchers chance against a natural middle/super middle weight.

          no offense.

I hope Mayorga does that thing where he taps his chin and lets his opponent tee off on his face!! The **** talking that would occurr in this countdown would probably make Sweet Intentions Taylor depart from his soft spoken tone and kick some ass.

We all know Mayorga will be a 10-1 underdog. This has nothing to do with Mayorga and everything to do with Taylor. If Taylor wants this fight it will be pathetic on his part. Bigger upsets have happend tho.

This is NOT the fight mayorga needs to take.

He doesnt have much of a chance at all...

his BEST chance to win is off a lucky punch and i think even if mayorga taunts taylor in the fight and challenges him to free shots that taylor wont bite the bait...especially after his first fight with pavlik.

taylor would beat him by a big UD...116-112 or 117-111.

                  mayorga shouldnt take this fight...

taylor should look for better competition...

mayorga should go down in weight and taylor should take a crack at 168...

Haha what a joke. Mayorga thinks he's a Super Middleweight. Taylor is going to blow him out in two rounds. Ricardo should rethink things, the 154 pound division is not very good right now, and if he can get himself in shape he might be able to pull off a couple good wins before he's shot.
