i would definitely say that he is being paid by the Nth Cyprus government to promote their country..pretty common and Haye has done a very good job of it.

He's just paying respect to where he spends a lot of time, at the end of the day he needs to go back to that country to live & train its only right that he shows credit and it also builds a non english fanbase...

One thing i like about Haye is he doesn't show any form of respect for frank warren and his hype machine... The guy as an excellent opportunity to do something big in the HW division...

So he aint another fake English fighter at all, he's just a fighter with an opportunity in front of him that will get hated on by people like you who don't know no better...

He won a silver medal in the World Amateur Boxing Champions for...you guessed it Great Britain.
He lives in Kyrenia(TRNC) for part of the year and in London for the rest.
