I cant see Manny loosing to Marquez, really.
Pacman is much better now and Marquez is just older.
It will be another impressive win for the Pacman.

Whenever a rematch occurs, you look for signs in who has changed the most since the first fight. I've seen Pacquiao right hook Erik Morales to 2 KO losses and him pick his shots better against Barrera.

In the meantime, Marquez had a hard time with Jimrex Jaca, who is a watered down version of Pacquiao. Manny Steward even said that he wasn't sure that Marquez would beat Pacquiao after seeing Jaca land left hands almost at will. He went life and death with Barrera, a fight that should've been easier.

Marquez gets hit more than he used to. Maybe it's because he's slowed down or maybe he wants to make entertaining fights. I can think of better tendencies to enter a Pacquiao fight with.

I think if they fought in 2004-5, Marquez would have won. Pacquiao has been afforded an opportunity to improve and Marquez is getting hit a lot more than when he was younger.

barrera fought differently on both fights. he knew he could go toe-to-toe w/ jmm and even knocked him down. i had mab winning on a very slim margin, but the fight couldve gone either way. mab only fought to hear the final bell in his pac rematch. he never slugged it out continously, always running after a few flurries. the fight w/ pac was more easier to judge than w/ jmm.

Only a very delusional, nuthugging maniac would think Juan did better against mab than Pacquiao.

It's tough to say because Barrera came out to meet Marquez figuring Marquez to try and counter. Against Pacquiao, he wanted to counter. Pacquiao didn't expose himself because he knew Barrera was trying to set traps for him when he overextended himself.

The Barrera-Marquez fight was very exciting because both guys went to war immediately. I think Barrera came to fight more with Marquez because he didn't see him as much a threat with one shot where with Pacquiao he was trying to take it the whole 12 rounds.

Did you guys forget barrera was almost out on his feet in that round where he caught marquez off balance right before the round. marquez beat up barerra. manny didn't have the chance to because barerra was a counter fighter that night. The barerra fight should have never happend i think it was just Golden boys and manny's manager making a fight for the payday since their legal battles had cost them some money so they made it up by puttting these two fighters together. you can see barerra had no will to fight he was just there to go twelve rounds. He even said in the interview after the fight he wanted to come out and show he can hang because most people said manny would ko him. I see marquez as the hungrier more skilled fighter right now. he has wanted to avenge his loss for 4 years now and manny has finally decided to do the rematch.

I agree that Marquez was winning the round big by that point, but no way was that an off-balance issue. Barrera caught him with a poster-esque right hand and sent Marquez down. Knockdown.

It was a controversial win for Juan who many people thought Marco should've got the decision. LOL on the caught marquez off balance part. Manny on the otherhand beat Marco both in the inside and and outside exchanges. He even outcounterpunch the counterpuncher. It's people like you who give boxing a bad name. You're too biased and it affects your judgement and logical thinking.

Come fight night JMM's counter punches won't be enough to stop Pacman's assault.
