Showtime can't carry HBO's jockstrap!

HBO is better, but showtime does gets good fights my friend. like Vas vs Mar III, great fight indeed.

haha that guy always looks like that its disturbing.
They must have been bummed that the fight ******. And lasted only a few minutes. But they did have Vaz vs Mar last week so...

i agree, they just arent on hbos level, but they have more exciting fights usualy

I pay to see the fights, not the announcers. Showtime had all three Vazquez-Marquez fights. Don't tell me about not having any "big fights".

Maybe I should say they don't have many big fights. You just can't beat Jim Lampley, Howard Lederman, ate up Larry Merchant, and Emmanuel Steward. I like Lennox too. The commentating and presentation of a fight is important, at least to me.

Both are a must for boxing fans....

Saying that, HBO has the bigger budget so they have the bigger stars.

I think Showtime has slipped a little in the past year besides the Marquez-Vasquez fights but they have something HBO doesn't have ShoBox so we can see those prospects we read about fighting fairly good competition.

And they did have Corrales-Castillo and some memorable other fights throughout the years.

Showtime for the most part has the far better matched fighters. Castillo-Corrales.....Vazquez-Marquez trilogoy are the big names but there are many smaller competitive fights on Showtime. HBO has good fights but they also have a large portion of there fights as SHOWCASE fights where a fighter is put in with a totally outclassed fighter just to up the stock of the Showcased fighter.

Showtime might have the smaller stars and fewer of them but they make them fight the better competition.
