    These days it is almost impossible to find a top tier fighter that is willing to fight more than 3 times in 12 months. This is mainly due to the harsh training that goes into these fighters making weight. Unlike the olden days, today's boxers lose huge amounts of weight before a fight. It is hard on the body to do this over and over again without a long break.
