what about imbragimov ? it would be a good guage to see how he handles him compared to wlad and an impressive victory could set up big things

He already fought at heavy once but Povetkin would be nice or maybe Imbragov as he will test Haye at heavy and was a titlest until a few weeks ago but is coming off a loss.

If he could get Wlad he should take it.

Like his trainer said what's the harm in losing to the best guy. Certainly better than losing to someone like Danny Williams who lets face it COULD land a bingo punch on Dave with his left hand being so low. That would be a ****ter.

Rahman or Skelton are big mistakes from a fan's point of view. Also, no Ruiz or McCline who seem to be on everyone's short list no matter how often they lose or look bad winning.

I thought the idea was to see him in exciting fights.

              Please, no battle of britain.....

i think he should fight McCline(if he isn't retiring) or someone big to see how he deals with the power and size befoe putting him vs Wlad or Peter

Rightly so. He doesn't need to go there.
Ruiz would be a good opponent for Haye's second outing at the weight (and first in a series to cement himself as a major force there). Then Peter.

Go ahead and get in there with Wlad. Since, you know, he's disgracing the division and all.
