Should Maskaev retire now?

Maskaev should retire or he's in for his seventh ko loss.
He made 1.7 million last night so another good offer and he immediately will forget about his past.
He sure sounds like he wants to stay in the game based on the post-fight interviews.
At the rate he fights, we should see him again when he's safely over 40 posiibly in 2010.

I can see him trying to fight his way to a title again but I doubt he'll become a titlist again and now that he has enough money to live comfortably, I think he should call it a day but considering his post fight comments, it doesn't seem like he wants to retire.

I can see Maskaev winning another belt, so I say, NO!

I will like to see Wlad fight Makaev next and Peter will fight Vitali, the winners should fight each other.

As for Chagaev, I think he should fight Valuev next, cause the first fight was really close.

Who would Oleg be beating for this belt? A fight between him and Wlad would be a disgrace and a joke. He looked like he didn't even know how to defend himself against Peter.

he's shot dude. did you see how slow his punches were? when peter can make you miss you know the reflexes arent there anymore. maskeav looked horrible. he needs to retire

He still has his muscle memory, he's just lost the speed. The point wasn't about him being shot, but that the decision will be entirely based upon money. If he wants to grab more, even in his current condition he can take down some bums, but his days of fighting for titles are over.

Yeah, he should retire. He has now beaten the odds and made a lot of money when nobody thought he was going to. He is 39 years old. Just suffered a knockout loss. He should hang'em up, the timing is right.
