Gimme your points! Campbell wins in Mexico!!!

Haha, great fight by both guys. Alot of people picked Juan Diaz as the second coming of Roberto Duran, which is what bothered me. Nate Campbell gave the fight of his life and really beat him. There was a reason Diaz wasn't matched with slick fighters, and we saw exactly why.

I'm sorry to say but Juan Diaz looks like his tank is out of gas as a fighter. The same story as Ricky Hatton, who ran into Luis Collazo and was never the same. Diaz can't fight any other style and he's been taking alot of punishment in his short career. I think he's out of gas personally.

Skills, Mgkirkpatrick, and whoever else is in my sig, gimme my points!

Doesn't anyone remember the compubox stats that said that Diaz has the best defense next to Mayweather?

You did a good job of picking this fight Asian, I thought you were crazy picking Campbell. You were right he was determined and gave Diaz problems that he hadn't seen before. As far as saying he's done, I think it may be a little to early to say that. We'll have to wait and see once he gets in there with another elite fighter.

            Seriously.

Mayweathers opponents averaged 16% connect rate.

Diaz opponents averaged 17% connect rate.

Nate wasn't slick though, he came out and pounded his ass at his own game and outlasted him. He deserves props for doing that, I didn't think he he was capable. Campbell fought a great fight, but I also felt that Diaz showed that the adversity got to him and was never the same after the cut (the cut could of been from rubbing heads but it looked like it came from the punch to me), it seemed like it physically and emotionally drained him

Are you kidding? Nate was unbelievable slick. In the same vein as James Toney. He stood in the trenches, and was still unhittable.

I thought he got hit plenty, he got hit flush on some occasions early in the fight too, more in the first three fights than Toney in his prime would ever get hit clean. The thing is though, Diaz has so little power that they were not very effective in the quantity he landed them, in the second half of the fight he landed many less but he threw a lot less.

You need to re watch the fight. Nate was rolling beautifully. Even when he did get hit, he turned with it and took the steam off.
