So listen, I am not talking about how powerful most objective fans think he is. I am talking about the idiots who think he takes Dawson out in a couple of rounds with one punch at 175. The morons who think he gets Kessler out of there in 3 because of his insane power. The ****ing ******s who think he is going to KO Winky with a punch that busts through the guard (partially blocked).

But don't kid yourself, Pavlik has hit many people with quite a few flush punches and they stood up to those. A lot of people are overrating his power.
    Look my man.

He hurt Taylor plenty of times throughout the bout. And that was the best Taylor I have ever seen.

He sure as **** can beat down a former Jr. Middle in Winky, a softy in Kessler, and Dawson who has a terrible chin....

It's not out of the question. It's doubtful, but not totally impossible.

For the record, I dont see Miranda getting KO'd against Kessler. It takes a lot of punishment to hurt him, and I just dont see Mikkel having what it takes.

Oh, and it would be smarter to watch the fight on an actual television set. Watching it on the computer - you can barely see the fawking punches land.

HBO on Demand bro... it was on the tele.

And fair enough if Taylor was hurt a few times in the fight, but he wasn't badly hurt, which seems to feed my theory that he is a hard puncher, but not a one-punch KO artist.

Also, where the **** did you get that Kessler is a softy and Dawson has a terrible chin? I know Dawson has been down a few times, but they seem to be more off-balance shots than anything. I don't think either of those statements are accurate.

Also, even if Winky started at 154, he has a terrific chin. The straight right counter shots that had Taylor badly hurt in the both fights with Bernard didn't dent Winky, at all.

            Kessler's a softy. He's a wuss. Just my opinion.

And Dawson....yeah...he's got a bad chin. Try watching his fights brother. They are not balance KD's or flash knockdowns...they are legit. He is hiding that chin of his which is why he fights the way he does.

It's fine because he has the potential to box Pavlik's ears off. But if Pavlik can get through with smoe singles....Dawson will be on his butt the entire night.

And in regards to Winky....he seems to take a good shot. I dont see that forward, smothering style of his as very productive if he fought Kelly. Kelly would find his mark.

Look at the punch at 11 seconds.
I'm not sure how many fighters could've stood up to that, Taylor is a tough guy.

It's a bit of a stretch to say he KO's Wright, Kessler and Dawson but he does have a chance of stopping them late. Not saying it would happen but it could.

Pavlik, to me, has Hagler type of power.
Pavlik may not be a one punch KO guy but he gets the job done more often than not by breaking his opponents down and has a great KO ratio (people might be fooled by that).

                he's stopped like 90% of his opponents...judging by FACTS...which i like to use..FACTS....he's a power puncher.

he knocked out top 10 middleweight competition for ****s sake.

he's not julian jackson but who the **** is. good ****in' fighter.

That's how I see it too. He punches hard. He hurts his opponents (although not badly) with one shot. They eventually get tired and beaten up from the many punches that land throughout the fight, and can't stay on their feet anymore.

Shane Mosley had a stellar KO rate at lightweight too, but he wasn't exactly the biggest puncher that anyone had ever seen. He mostly put guys out through the accumulation of punches.

Shane Mosley... lightweight... 90% KO ratio... not a huge power puncher.

And no one is dis*****g that he is a good fighter. Yes, he is. It is possible that a good fighter doesn't have one punch KO power, right?
