Cotto would punish Mayorga with body shots all night...this would be like a child going to disney world, Cotto would have a blast going at Mayorga

Cotto has too much skill for Mayorga.
        Miguel by unanimous decision.

Seems like a strictly financial bout, since Mayorga is pretty well known it should get some good ppv buys. Cotto by TKO due to a nonstop body onslaught, Mayo isn't getting taken out by any chin shots with that chin.

Mayorga has been taking hits from guys at higher weights, so of course they are going to be harder.

Miguel doesnt have one punch knockout power as some would like to believe. He breaks you down, and to do that he would have to stand in front of Mayorga, who at 147 had amazing power.

Just because i think someone would lose, doesnt make me a fan of theirs? Ive been watching Miguel for years, and if you dont see there are flaws in his game, then something is wrong with you. Im just saying Miguel shouldnt be in there with guys who have one punch knockout power as of yet, hes still young and improving every fight.
I wouldn't say that. Trinidad and DLH have both been referred to as blown up WWs, Cotto was also able to land more significant shots than Vargas and he actually beat Mosley, something Vargas couldn't do. I'm not saying he has one punch KO power and I don't think he needs it to beat Mayorga.

If you really are a Cotto fan than you must know he doesn't only break his opponents down by standing in front of them. He discourages them, makes them miss and counters effectively. Most of the people on this board said Mosley would beat Cotto because he couldn't box, now people are talking about him being a smart fighter something I've been saying for months.'

I thought you said he could win btw? I see the flaws yes, but I also have been watching both fighters long enough to conclude Mayorga will be given a boxing lesson and a rest on the canvas if he were to challenge Cotto. A straight snapping jab beat a wide right hook any day, that's how DLH broke him down I believe

Trinidad punches harder then Cotto but he couldnt finish him early and De La Hoya, the only man to truely wipe out Mayorga, got rid of him in six but it was a ref stoppage and while mayorga did take a beating he didnt even look hurt.
              Wrong.....

Mayorga is past it, and his chin wont matter when Cotto rips him with crisp body shots. He's simply in another class right now. In 03 it's different.

why you think Cotto is one dimensional?
He gave us a little glimpse of his boxing during the Mosley fight and Cotto has always had boxing skill and a nice jab.
