You see people hating on Tony for fighting tuneups like Johnson, West, and Gomez......Yet he did what he was supposed to and got them out of there in 1 round. K and then he fought Santos, Clottey, Williams, and Cintron

I would never appoligise for him taking the Johnson fight and nor should any of his fans. Johnson got a big upset over a top contender in Oscar Diaz. Which got him the shot at Margarito.

huh...thats pretty interesting, thanks for pointing that out. Although from what IVe read and heard, Margarito was actually slightly ahead in the Santos fight, and was coming alive in the final rounds too before that TD...Ill be believe that, cause Margarito always gets going in the final rounds.
so basically Margarito probebly shouldnt have a loss to Santos...although IVe never actually seen the fight, so I dont like to comment like that.

Well yall, if Margarito beats Cintron, I think it seems pretty clear that he intends to unify the titles...Yall should be happy.

If you followed Santos career or seen him fight a few times before the Margarito fight you would be amazed as i was when Santos sat on his punchs and traded with Margarito. That was a great performance by Santos maybe one of his best considering the way he fought with so much heart. I felt The fight was close and yes Margarito was starting to take over from a back and fouth fight.

Seriously Margarito will mess Cotto up, if he gets passed kermit cintron. Margarito is on a whole other level in terms of pressure fighting, something cotto will not be used to margarito is tall, hits hard, has a high work rate and has a way better chin then miguel cotto.

Yeah he fought a great fight lol.

I mean the whole countering thing and using angles and then landing those lead punches. It's remarkable that Tony was still beating him in the second fight at the time of the stoppage. I mean he just was throwing more and was the one initiating the trades backing Santos up.
