I don't understand people's ******, gross overrating and underrating of Tony's entire arsenal as a fighter. There are some crazy Mexicans that would compare his punching power to Tyson...........and there are people calling him a "bum" or D class fighter.

He's just a big, durable, well conditioned workman.

Exactly, He's a pretty good fighter with pretty good skills. He's not exceptional at anything in particular, his power is overrated though.

I like the fact that Margarito comes over top and underneath. I cant think of any other fighters today who throw that over hand right/left uppercut combination as well as he does.

He's really a B+ offensive fighter. People just get thrown of by the wide punches and assume he lacks skill. What was on FNF last night was wide punches with lack of skill. Marg knows where to place those gloves...

Marg wants that shine, but it won't be easy now to take it from Cotto. He had a better chance last year. Cotto is a lot better now and will beat Marg convincingly.

Boxingscene reported(at the time) that Margarito was getting 1.2 million to fight Williams and the Cotto fight was still up in the air and Arum didn't want to match the 1.2 million Goosen was offering to Margarito.

So stop with the easier fight bullcrap. He took the Williams fight cause it was more money. Not because of wanting to defend his title crap, no, it was for the mula.
