My Hardest Hitters in Boxing History

Benn is the hardest puncher I've seen at middleweight. Absolutely lethal - especially when hurt. His power was less effective when he moved up, but he could still unleash bombs.
As the previous poster said - guys like Eubank and Steve Collins (both with rock solid chins) are as good a guide as any to the question of who hits the hardest.
Eubank himself was an extremely damaging hitter - especially before the Watson fight (after which he never seemed to throw at full power).Comment

some people put his name in lists like these when it just dont belong thier ,Hearns knocked out quality oposition fighters like Cuevas & Duran guys with solid chins & Hearns starched them in less than 3 rounds wiht 1 punch and he was knocking people out from 147 to 175
we all know how hard Hamed hit ,biggest punching Featherweight ever
Julian Jackson self explanitory ,hardest puncher ever
Trinidad destroyed fighters from 147 to 160
Benn could'nt put Sugar Boy Malinga away in 2 fights , Benn was a big puncher but he does'nt rank alongisde these guys for punching power ,many fighters went the distance with BennComment

The second fight against Malinga shouldn't be considered. Benn was mentally shot after the McClennan fight. Finished.Benn was a big puncher i dont deny that ,but his Power is Overated

As for going the distance against the likes of Eubank (who I doubt even McClellan or Jackson could put away with a sledgehammer), Galvano and even Henry Wharton - there's no disgrace in that.
Besides, many a big puncher has gone 12 against a fighter who was considered "easy meat".
I really can't add much more to the testaments of Eubank and Collins, who carried two of the hardest chins in the history of boxing.Comment
If you switch Paulie with Oscar then I would agree with you.
