My Hardest Hitters in Boxing History

    My Hardest Hitters ,whats yours

    Julian Jackson
    Mike Tyson
    George Foreman
    Thomas Hearns
    Gerald McClellan
    Naseem Hamed
    Felix Trinidad
    Lennox Lewis

i dont no enough about Earnie Shavers to to know where to put him in allthough i hear he should be somewhere around the top 3/4 , I Chose Julian Jackson based on his ability to KO top calibre oposition with either hand with one punch for me the biggest puncher ever p4p ,Mike Tyson has to be second, devestaing puncher and his relatively small size lets u know how much natural power the guy really had ,George Foreman monster of a man great puncher even as an oldman he was still putting people to sleep [addison Rodriguez]felt the full force of Georges hook LOL ,and Michael Moorer will testify to the Right hand & thats not even mentioning Frazier & Norton ,McClellan did'nt really KO top quality oposition besides Jackson ,Mugabi but if u watch some of the His KO u can visibly see & hear how hard this guy actually hit which leads me to believe he had one hell of a shot on him ,Massive puncher mainly from range though , the Hitman right hand was the most deadly of weapons ,Cuevas had a great chin so did Duran & he starched both of them inside 2 rounds he was even able to Knockout 175lbs fighters even though his natural weight was only 147 huge puncher Hearns was ,he was a one punch Knockout merchant aswell ,Naseem Hamed hit way to hard fora Featherweight i dont care what anybody says he is the hardest punching Featherweight ever ,Trinidad was a monster at 147 lbs the people that tried to stand infront of this guy & got blown away , Lennox Lewis was a real big punching Heavyweight aswell IMO Mike Tyson or Bowe could'nt get rid of Golota ,Lennox had a great right hand

          More hard hitters (not all):

          Khaosai Galaxy
          Wilfredo Gomez
          Danny "Little Red" Lopez
          Alexis Arguello
LW Roberto Duran, could punch at higher weights
WW Ray Robinson, kept his power at MW
          Bob Foster
Marciano, Dempsey and Louis could KO much bigger men.

Just putting some names out there.
I decided to leave Ketchel, Fitzsimmons and the other late 1800's - early 1900's era fighters out because I haven't seen much footage of them.

Iran Barkley is the best fighter Benn put away , Danny Perez ,Lou Gent,Nicky piper ,Dan Sherry,Hector Lescano , all bums

Galvano went the distance & was stopped on cuts 1st time around ,Wharton was going no where ,Nardiello had his customary mental breakdown in the fight

Benn was a big puncher but nothing extraordinary , his name does'nt even belong on this list he is so Overated as a puncher its untrue

That's a good list. I think Carlos Zarate deserves to be on it too.

You need to calm down with your hate of Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank. It seems nearly psychotic.

Every sane person knows Benn is one of the hardest hitters there's been. His KO's left opponents in the worst state, and the greatest chins in the game - DeWitt, Eubank and Collins - all stated that Benn hit them hardest by far. In terms of 'opposition', he stopped Barkley and McClellan which Hearns and Jackson couldn't, and dropped DeWitt and Sims for the first times in their careers.

                  Unreal natural punching power:
His KO of Logan was on the way down from being KO'd himself! And he didn't even mean to KO Dan Sherry with that shot!

You don't think he'd have rendered Sugar Boy unconscious if he landed his best shot on him? He just couldn't past his long left jab either time.

the only thing psychotic is that everything u post has Benn or Eubank at the end of it

Benn hit hard but he aint **** compared to the guys i mentioned ,Barkley was stopped on 3 knock down rule

Benn never KO top quality oposition that is a fact his punching power is overated
