its a shame. i think he should take some fights at 147 like the other guy said hed be a good name on some up and coming fighters resume, and he could probably still take some lower ranked oppostion up there. i think he'll still fight and try to mae some money.

I truly do feel bad for the guy but it's really not in his best interest to keep doing this.
Who says Castillo must fight the elite fighters of the division? He could probably beat some top 20 or 30 opponents an earn enough to make a living. And if he's lucky, maybe he'll score one last big payday before he retires...

I would just hate to see him become a "stepping block" for up and coming fighters. Retiring as a journeyman would be a shame.

Either hang it up or make weight.
              No excuses.

well if thats what he has to do to feed his family then he would have to do it, The man is a fighter and a Known-name he would make money fighting the prospects of 147 or 154 without killing himself to make weigh.

You bring up a valid point but why jeopardize his health? The buck's gotta stop somewhere. He's gonna start taking some real punishment soon and what if he ends up like Ali? That's not helping his family's or his own cause out.

His money situation is based on his poor choices. You can feel bad for his situation, but its his fault. That's three (maybe four) times he broke the rules. You just cant do it, simple as.
