Beats the lineal champ and has the WBC/WBA/IBF. Which made Zab the true champ in 2005 at 147.

                    Obviously he was...

I have noticed though that the more times a lineal championship changes hands, the less credible the champion seems to be.

Mosley beats Oscar. Considered the best in the sport.

Forrest beats Mosley. Less credible than Mosley was it seemed, considering his name didn't take off like Mosley's did.

Mayorga beats Forrest. Some people consider it a fluke, others detract from Mayorga's lack of technical skill.

Spinks beats Mayorga. Claims of a bad decision.

Judah beats Spinks. After going 1-1 in the series with no rubber to decide it.

                    Baldomir beats Judah. F-L-U-K-E.

Follow the line of people that had the welterweight title... doesn't it seem to get worse every single time it changes hands? Something interesting to think about?
