I don't think Lacy gets the credit he deserves for lasting the full 12 against Calzaghe. He took a brutal beating that would have finished many other fighters early.

Guts like that will stand him in great stead if he can get any kind of form back.

He hasn't shown himself to be top five recently, but he's still top ten.

I'd say you were right on the money with that - say around 6 or 7 but qualify that comment on the basis that his rotator cuff injury has fully healed (because that's a mf of an injury)

Before he fought Calzaghe I'd of easily put him #3 behind Joe and Mikkel. If he recovers from his injury he may still do some good.

Now this is coming from quite possibly his biggest fan.......He is not top 10 right now. He has done nothing to warrant a top 10 ranking in over 2 years......It saddens me but I gotta keep it real. He's defintely top 20 tho......

He is definately top 20 and he might sneak into my top ten list.

Lacy wasn't all he was cracked up to be, but he can still have an impact upon the division if he sets himself straight. He'll hold a belt again IMO.
