I would say anywhere from 10-15 is fair. But if he is ranked anywhere from 7-10 by any governing body and/or organization, I would be ok with that too.
He needs to do a little more before he gets to a top 5 ranking in my opinion.
I think if all the supermiddles lined up, then there would be a LOT that could beat him (I mean, FFS, Peter Manfredo Jr. was handling him for fair stretches) but until they do then it's purely conjecture and so a former title holder who took Joe Calzaghe the distance () deserves that ranking.

I understand your use of laughing smiley here, but Lacy staying on his feet for 12 lopsided rounds was a tremendous display of courage and punch resistance. It was also a bad move by his management, they should have ended after about 7 (I think it was the seventh that ended brutally for him)

Oh, I do agree.
And yes, it was the seventh where he was rocked badly (and where The Blow cracked his hand, causing him to take it easy for rounds 8-11).
I mean, I do think that, say, Froch would do Lacy (I'd LOVE to see that fight whatever happens... I think the styles would make for a great fight) but it's just pure conjecture. There aren't 19 smws that have proven themselves more than Lacy.
