There was talk of Taylor having a tune up at 168 then fighting Kessler.

I have high regard for Miranda because of his ‘hard hitting crowd pleasing’ style of boxing and the ‘machismo’ he emits by his ‘bad ass’ attitude, however, I think he needs to step up his level of opposition gradually so that he can improve and evolve into a better boxer. At this early stage in his career, I’d hate to see him take a beating again like he did against Pavlik…

On the other hand, I guess you got to admire (and embrace) a fighter who wants to fight the best fighters out there, regardless of the risk…

Is fighting a huge puncher after your first loss exactly a smart thing to do anyway?

Seems like Kessler is ducking Miranda, but it's too soon to tell. Let's see what Kessler has to say after this, it could be in fact he has something else lined up.

Miranda might be P4P **** talker in boxing, him or Mayorga, tough call.

Miranda wouldn't even make the top 10 of SMW's. Why on earth would Kessler take this fight, unless he wants an easy tune-up?

If Miranda couldn't beat Abraham or Pavlik he ain't got a chance with Kessler.
