Everybody knows Floyd didnt want nothing to do with Tony Big Risk Low reward, infact I really think Tony had a good chance of beating Floyd, you could easily see in his fight with Clottey Tony can adapt to hand speed and boxing skills, and Clottey has some pop probably more pop than Floyd.
sure Floyd fans will bring up the Williams fight, but you cant really williams is a 6 + foot welter weight who is a south paw totally the opposite of what Floyd is.
no matter how you look at it, Floyd turned down BIG money to fight Margarito, and no matter how you look at it there is Video out there of Margarito confronting Floyd and beleive me you can tell Floyd was scared.

                i agree to an extent.

floyd does take some slack from people that isnt called for and some that is...

some of the things he does makes me angry towards him but i dont discredit floyd. he's not one of my favorite fighters but dont get me wrong...he is a great fighter and you cant take that away from him.

he's turn down some questionable fights...like margarito...

but he's also got in there and beat some good fighters; judah (at the time he was good); hatton; de la hoya(although i had it scored 115-113 against mayweather...he still won); castillo; corrales (RIP); baldomir; etc.

some of these guys were undefeated forces to be reakoned with at the time (like hatton and corrales).

so i dont discredit him or think he's garbage. i would want him to fight a little more of what the public wants to see...and i would like for him to not be overly ****y and take the trashtalking too far (mayorga trash talking/****iness = funny...mayweather's ****yness/trashtalking sometimes gets annoying)...it makes him look like a jerk...

but as far as he goes as a fighter i think he's a great fighter who could very well land himself a spot in the boxing HOF when he retires if he continues what he's started...add a couple more big names to his resume and i think he's set...

names like Miguel Cotto; A catch weight fight with Manny Pacquiao (he IS the second person on the P4p list...it would do wonders for both fighter's reputation and legacys in the sport...not to mention the money...i believe it would set an even HIGHER level of PPV buys); etc.

lots of great fights can be made with the top level of competition out there today.

Well It's not out of the question that a future fight between Mayweather and Margarito happens, and Floyd did tell Tony he'd give him a chance down the road when he was established.

If Floyd did in fact at either 147 or 154 in the near future sign a fight against Margarito he'd really be doing good. See nobody is saying Floyd wouldn't do the obvious and exploit his speed and boxing skill advantage over Tony in the ring, but he'd be living up to his word at this point. And it's kind of obvious now when talking about long over due fighters and how they deserve a shot at a real money fight.

One of the few times I will agree with you.

You said it right on the money.

Add the fact that the welterweight division is fcking talent filled with elites.

                      Talk about level of competition.

CLOTTEY, MARGARITO, COTTO, QUINTANA, WILLIAMS, CINTRON, MOSLEY

That's a lot of elites that need to be cleaned up if Fake Floyd is really man enough to line them up.

The sad thing is, he's proving he's a clown by going to the WWE.
