there's a hell of a big difference between moving up to heavyweights that can weigh well over 230 lbs and absorbing their punches as opposed to guys weighing 147 lbs even

I'm not comparing heavyweight punches to welterweight punches, I'm saying some fighters clearly are affected by making weight, workrate, stamina and the ability to take a punch are all affected when a person dehydrates himself to make weight, which is what Haye has been doing for a while.

I love this **** off haye. It's exactly what the heavyweight division needs. A bit of charisma and confidence. Who cares if he is being premature? In a division made up of cardboard personalitys from the eastern bloc, and no flashy Yanks to entertain us with thier madness and showbiz style, it's a ****ing tonic I say.

Sorry but Wlad is the most overrated fighter in the history of the sport, hes in the worst division in boxing and has been beaten 3 times who has he beaten who is any good? none because there are no good boxers in the heavies at the moment. People are underestimating Haye, Haye can knock anyone out and Wlad has a glass chin. Haye would need to work on his defense however if the two ever face, I just don't buy into the Wlad hype and the fight won't be a easy one for Wlad as Haye is a slick fighter against a robot.

these have been my exact thoughts, however whenever i've tried making them i've been shouted down. Wlad has been knocked down 11 times in his career and for the most part he's been fighting no marks. Haye has a legitimate chance of beating him

while some on here may overrate him,,youre clearly underrating wlad. he's an olympic gold medalist that went 134-6 against international competition and 3 losses out of 52 fights is hardly anything to be ashamed of. espescially considering 2 of the 3 were due to him just not pacing himself and punching himself out after dominating round after round and he has knocked out a good handul of top 10 opponents and I hate to break it to you,,,,but haye who does have talent and power at cruiserweight is far from slick and has a sloppy defense. he needs to bring his left hand up if he's going to have any descent chance against wlad. I also think wlad is actually quicker of hand than haye even though he's also much bigger

I agree that these sort of claims are ****** at this point in time. however, if haye can beat maccrennelli on saturday and have 2 or 3 nice wins at heavyweight, whilst slowly and effectively increasing weight to maybe 225-230lbs i think he has more chance than anyone of knocking klitschko out. he's fast as **** and has phenomonal power.

he's way too over confident though and its starting to become annoying.
