Can Margarito beat Cotto?

Cotto is a good style matchup for Margarito and actually I think it would be a good fight. Especially if Cotto wants to mix it up with Marg. I see Cotto winning in the end, but wouldn't be suprised if Margarito won. On the other hand I know anything can happen in boxing, but I just don't see Margarito beat Mayweather. He's way to fast for him and would make Margarito look slow and old.

Definitely, they are both pressure fighters so it would be an all out slug fest, they are both tough mother ****ers and can punch as hard. Like most people have said, Cotto has a slight advantage in power (specially to the body) but Tony's punches come in bunches and will eventually break Cotto down as the fight goes on. Cotto is also weak against uppercuts as proven by Zab Judah, and that's Tony's favorite punch and can throw it with either hand, also Tony has an iron chin and Cotto's chin is still kinda iffy. This fight could go either way but I would bet all of my chips on my boy Tony just because he's my favorite fighter right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. One thing is for sure, it will be one hell of a fight! I got Cotto by UD.

yeah but tyson, was going nuts at that time, too many problems, court,GF and a lot of B/s surrounding him.....he wsn't training 100%.....margarito has the best chance of beating cotto....im not sure cotto should fight margarito,
he could make him look ugly
