Can Margarito beat Cotto?

Forgetting all the bull**** that is written in this forum, Margarito is a dangerous fight for alot of fighter's. The reason that fighter's have shyed away from giving this guy a shot is because he does pose a serious threat with his stamina, chin, power and akward fighting style.

I think a fight with Cotto would be a war and I think that Margarito would have a very good chance of winning. Cotto has the slight edge in power, while Margarito has the edge in chin.

Tough fight for both fighter's but would make a great fight IMO. I really hope Margarito doesn't get hit with a bog shot from Cintron and loses that fight because a fight with Cotto could be fight of the year.

Its possible for anybody to beat anybody. Did anyone think Douglas would beat tyson? Or how about Tarver & G. Johnson knocking Roy into next week?

Margarito can beat Cotto, Cotto hasn't fought anyone as powerful or as big as Margarito. I think Margarito has more chance of hurting Cotto than the other way around, Cotto was stunned a few times by Judah so I'm pretty certain Margarito can hurt him.

I won't pick a winner because it's a 50/50 fight to me, all I know is that their styles will make for a very exciting fight.

there is no way in hell cotto can handle margaritos power. margarito will hunt him down and knock him out.

I would probably go with Fraudarito over Cotto at the moment.

cotto hasnt even stepped up to anyone as good as clottey or williams yet. clottey has a good chin but margarito had an injured ankle and wrist that fight so he couldnt put all his power into his punches. and williams felt margaritos power and wouldnt give him a rematch.
