Yeah I don't think Cintron would be much trouble for Cotto.

Because he's a boxer puncher first and foremost, and I definitely don't think he's as skilled as Cotto is. His defense is swisscheesed and Cotto isn't exactly a defensive genius either. But Cotto's attack is really diverse, and he'd confuse Cintron mixing the punches downstairs and upstairs.

I think it's a possibility that Cintron could stun Cotto much like Torres and Judah did because he like them is.........a huge puncher.

But I don't think he has the grit to finish the job.......and I don't think he's on his level as a fighter.

Just like he's not on Tony's level and he'll get wrecked again.

      No doubt whatsoever, G.

      Good post.

Yes, and from the looks of it, a lot more than you. You say Feliciano is outrageously durable, yet 4 of his 6 losses come via KO. Amazing chin, yet he was iced in 1 round by Mike Arnaoutis and KO'd in 4 by D-Hop. Seems to me like you're putting too much stock in the Cintron fight. Mind you, Kermit injured his right hand very early in that fight.

That's a valid point. However, for me Cotto's chin has got to be the elephant in the room the first time he gets put in with a big puncher.

I totally agree with your analysis of Cintron. But Cotto's chin is a FAR greater liability than any problem Cintron would have. If somethings gotta give in that situation it's going to be Cotto's chin before it's going to be Cintron's heart.

HaHA.. Feliciano shouldn't even be fighting in the ring at this point. He's going to ****ing die if he keeps it up. Have you seen his fighting style? Now thats a guy who blocks punches with his face..

Tell me Antwuan, where are all these stoppages concentrated in terms of the timeline of his career? Dude is at the END. Go and look at virtually any fighter and see if you don't see EXACTLY the same pattern.

Chins don't last forever. They get WORSE with time and punishment. My characterization of his durability is FACT, and special appreciation because I've taken a fair amount of punches myself. Those stoppages are the product of collective damage, button shots, the fact that he is human, and his fighting style - and again primarily, his fighting style and collective damage.

Fighters like Feliciano most certainly don't last forever. They end up in the produce section or the morgue..

You have eyes, right??? Can you put this all together?

No, I didn't buy the excuse. That excuse being the act Cintron put it on to save face after the stoppage. Me and my friend both figured early on in the fight his right hand was injured since he wasn't throwing it as much. Still, I don't he was in excruciating pain towards the end like he made it seem.

If that's the case, and if he's indeed "at the end" like you suggested, where fighters "chins get worse with time and punishment" then why the hell do you presently consider him as "outrageously durable with an amazing chin?"

Now you're playing dumb.. This was in regards to Kermit Cintron, RIGHT?

NOW YOU TELL ME; HOW DID FELCIANO'S CHIN LOOK THAT NIGHT???

Ever heard the expression "a great fighter still has one more great fight in him?" Well Feliciano's great chin had one more great performance in it.
