    I would definitely agree.

Because he does in fact have the boxing skills (Cotto). I mean his skill set is one of the most underrated in all of boxing.

Tony doesn't have those kinds of skills.

But I think he takes a punch much better obviously, is an imposing figure at WW because of his size, and is unparalleled in the Workman category in all boxing.

Cotto would control space with Williams much like Quintana was able to. He would also discourage him, or stop him, from throwing so many punches. Quintana did it with movement and counter punching, many of those shots being looping punches. Cotto would do it with a jab and body punching.

Paul doesn't have the necessary force in his punch required to hold a guy like Cotto back. He doesn't understand how to use his length, how to use footwork to keep a functional spacial distance with his opponent. Quintana was able to punch and fall in at will. A guy like Cotto with a more educated offense coming forward will exploit that weakness in Paul. Once he starts hitting the body, Paul's stationary mug will be very vulnerable to the vicious hooks which Cotto throws.

        Seconded.

I've said since day one Cotto would wreck Williams.

Addy.........do you really think Joshua Clottey could beat Miguel Cotto?

I'm just wondering how you see that fight.

Guys and I still say he'd have trouble with De La Hoya.

I mean seriously. That would be a dangerous fight.

DLH at 154 would beat Cotto, at 147 he'd be a bit drained, he doesn't have good stamina as it is at 154, his stamina would be worse at 147, he'd get off to a good start, if Cotto can weather the early storm he'd beat DLH down the stretch.
