Cotto is open to a lot of punches and i wouldn't call his defense too solid, he gets hit a lot. Mosley was able to find a home for the overhand right numerous times and the left hook to the body as well. He would be a sucker for a tall fighter that has a good powerful uppercut, it would deadly.

That's not even the first most punch he's open to, let alone the only..

      STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND.

Mosley was trying to force that overhand right in but Cotto blocked most of them.

Bailey was trying it all night, Cotto blocked it.

That punch found its mark throughout the whole fight and its the exact same punch that had him shook up a bit in that 10th round. Almost every time Mosley would throw it, it landed.

His defense has improved but hes not defensive specialist or anything like that, he gets hit.

He has problems with fighters that come straight down the center with their power and because of that, Oscar will give him problems and so will Margarito. They are both fast accurate straight punchers. Zab, Torres, Mosley, Abdulaev, ect were all straight punchers and look what happened? He got in some trouble in all of those fights.

I'm not saying he's a defensive specialist, I'm saying his defense is solid, his defense for the right hand has improved since the Torres fight. Mosley was trying to land that right hand all night, he said so himself and the HBO guys were saying the same thing, he couldn't land a flush right hand until late in the fight, I'm saying the only punch a fighter can land on him consistently is an uppercut right up the middle because he relies on seeing that punch coming and closing his elbows in time to catch it.

I'll admit, Urkal landed some good right hands.
