Considering he beat someone as technically skilled as Kessler so one-sidedly, I think that shows that his skills are absolutely on another level from most other fighters.

I also think Hopkins's skills are on another level too though. What kind of a guy can seriously control the ring and the tempo so much that he wins decisions when averaging throwing less than 20 punches a round? Someone extremely special.

Bloke is gonna get beat and I cant wait! Look man, Joey has never been in the ring with the caliber of fighter like Bernard Hopkins.. and ALSO he wont have hometown refs looking out for him either. He's good and all but Hopkins is great. He will do things in there that will baffle Joe. Dont expect a high workrate from Joe in this one. He will more defensive minded then ever and will look the worse for ware losing a 12 ud or possible be stopped late.

I believe any great fighter from the past would have trouble vs. B-Hop whether it be Hagler, Leonard, or Robinson...you'd have to get B-Hop's respect with speed plus power...thats the key to beat Hopkins because if u can't hurt him ur done, plain and simple....and I honestly don't see Joe hurting Bernard with his punches, eventually I see B-Hop picking off Joe's punches....I picture Calzaghe throwing numerous shots while coming forward and in return Hopkins can counter with a dirty clinch or a counter..
