Are people really this bad at scoring fights?

I've been to a site called Fightjudge recently, and while it's a cool site where you can do scorecards I have seen some crazy scores out there.

    Here are examples:

    *115-113 for Kessler over Calzaghe
    *118-110 for Oscar over Floyd
    *120-109 for Bernard over Winky
    *116-112 for Soto over Guzman

And then are the official judges who scored it for Casamayor over Santa Cruz and that idiot who scored it for Holyfield over Lewis.

Are people really this bad at scoring fights? I mean it's not that hard to screw up that many obvious rounds is it?

Why would someone who gave 11 rounds to Hopkins make the last one even?!?

If they are blatantly disregarding what is going on in the fight, why would they make one round even and not just make it a clean sweep for Hopkins?

No, those are people driven by either love or hate for a certain fighter, and they just score it that way to **** with the consensus of who is winning each round.

He gave round 5 even. Why that round I don't know. If there would have been a round even it would have been 7 or 9 imo.

It's just like, how can you screw that many rounds up. Like Kessler-Calzaghe, while a competitive bout, there is no way Kessler won it and you should be able to tell the difference.

I think screwing up a clear decision like that makes you even worse of a judge then one who scores it all for the other guy because you can atleast tell not to take the guy who scored it a shutout seriously.

you see how few and far between unbiased posters are on the site, why should you expect judges to be any different

as i said in the bias thread... people know who they want to win a fight beforehand, then the try to rationalize a result on their favor

Insane. Talk about straining to give it to Kessler. Even a draw would be outlandish. I had 117 - 111 Zag.
