I thought that kid Zab was doing quite well against Floyd, but he gassed... he had absolutely nuffinck left after six rounds WHATSOEVER.

Don't you think Floyd had a little something to do with that? After all, Zab did go 12 rounds before plenty. Most notably against Cory Spinks where he tko'd him.

Just maturity as a fighter , more seasoned more rounded ,,,,, there is no one out there atm that can beat Floyd at 140 or 147 except Floyd himself and his loss of interest in boxing , an unmotivated Floyd is what can get him a loss because every fighter that fights him brings their triple A game and the best condition of their lives , not saying Floyd is unbeatable because we have seen elements that look vulnerable but to exploit them in one fighter over 12 rnds , he aint out there in the currant crop of fighters .

His lack of power and low punch output are 2 of his biggest weakness that nobody can exploit as of yet...i agree that a bigger WW with decent power and a good chin can beat him in points...someone that can have him backpedaling all day as well as keeping a high work rate...i think hes too defensive to get ko'd so a decision is your best shot.

That's clearly the case. Also Floyd over the years has increased his defensive minded style a la Bernard Hopkins as he got older. They both used to have a much higher workrate but as you keep winning and keep establishing yourself as these two, you start worrying more and think more defense then offense.

gotta be 100% conditionly and mentally. U gotta hit him to the chest everywhere. Eventually that would effect him later in rounds. Oscar de la hoya did well to floyd but like always oscar got problem, he cant box for whole 12 rounds. And u gotta start strong and finish stronger.

If you could add speed and skills to Margarito, you would have it. Margarito has the power, the workrate and the chin. Too bad he is so slow.

Mayweather started taking over after round 4, though. Maybe those bodyshots had something to do with Zab gassing out...

honestly i think you have to have someone like judah but with the stamina and metal strength to go the full 12 whilst maintaining that speed. Pressure just isn't the way to beat floyd anymore. Maybe if he'd faced a better pressure fighter at that stage in Floyd's career he would've lost but because he has adapted to so many fighters trying to win by pressure that he has become accustomed to it.
