The 12th and Final Round

While the fact that Israel came back to win the final championship round BIG i wouldn't call it the best round of the fight. There were many other much better rounds of edge of the seat back and forth action for that.

What a great fight though, Israel won over the Marquez crowd with that performance. No way you cant respect either of these guys.

Absolutely man and he will i just haven't had time to update it. But he definitely needs to be in there ;-) I think these wins over Marquez show just how good Vasquez really is.

Did you work the corner for Vasquez? I was going to look for you in the corner but i was so ecstatic by what was going on I wasn't paying any attention to anything except the fight lol.

I loved the end when after Vasquez won he went to each corner and saluted the crowd and everyone cheered for him even though when the fight first started it was mostly a Marquez crowd.

On another note, man what a great venue the home depot center is. Your dad is going to have to make that home of his fighters man hahaha. There were no bad seats in the house almost! I had 75 dollar seats and I thought the view was pretty spectacular, i think i'm going to try to make it to as many home depot center fights as i can hahaha.

You could easily score that round 10-7 because Marquez didn't land one meaningful punch and ran for 2:30

wow, just watched the fight cos i downloaded at night, and didnt knew the result. that 12 round i agree, vasquez determination and heart was amazing, and marquez being able to survive was amazing too. entering the 12 round i really wanted this fight to be a draw, cos it was just too amazing what both guys did, but that last round gave vasquez the win. i think all the guys that were saying after the firs fight that vasquez was a quitter, or didnt believe him on his nose, are now really amazed on vasquez will and heart. he is the complete opposite of a quitter.
and although i would love to see a fourth fight, i think that its better to leave it like this, cos the punishment both have recieved is just too much.

no they do not. But sometimes I do tell them whats going on and what people are saying.

I'm sure the 4th was round of the year. But what would you call round 12? "heart of the year" haha I don't know. But it was something special. Both guys have huge hearts.
