    The 12th and Final Round

Wow, I must have seen it over 20 times today haha. But wow.... I always tell Israel to "be hungry" and man...was he.

Words can not describe what round 12 was. Fighting HOFer Rafael Marquez...Being knocked down...Not being able to see from the fourth....twisted knee in the 7th...But Israel just kept coming.

What a tremedous heart he displayed. Israel may only weigh 122lbs but his heart weighs MUCH more...(both guys)

That is how you finish the 12th and final round to one of the greatest trilogy ever!!!!

      haha yeah ok.

I think I can see how this is sealed in history but FYI historians...........Marquez got his ass handed to him mercilessly for the entire 3 minutes of the 12th.

That round may have earned Vazquez Fighter of the Year.

which is why its spectacular. Vazquez was the one who got dropped first in the fight and the outcome of the fight was uncertain at that point. the fact that Izzy was able to produce such energy and output being the bloody, tired and weary mess he was is simply amazing.

              Great fight, Great trilogy.

Rafael Marquez is by no means a true Super Bantamweight.

I personally found the 4th round better because it wasn't as one sided, the 12th was a great round for Vazquez because it showed his heart, determination and hunger to win the fight.

the fourth round maybe the round of the year. no argument from me. But I was just amazed what Israel did in the 12th....

from being knock down, cant see, twisted knee, and fight HOFer....And yet to still come out and fight the way he did was incredible.

Vazquez showed some true grit, still can't believe Marquez survived the round.
