2 true it isn't good for you doing that sort of thing. He should have moved up to heavyweight right after beating mormeck imo.

The last time a much-ballyhooed cruiserweight was making noise about moving up and winning heavyweight belts he lost his impending unification fight.

        See Mormeck, Jean-Marc.

I will be rooting for Haye, though, because I think he has more of a chance to make noise at heavy than Mormeck did.

It just seems like he is overlooking Macca, and that's no good.

The bloke is a unified champ after 21 fights! his speed at heavyweight makes him harder to hit, and he has good head movement. When not boiled down if he has some legs he can definately beat them all, including wlad who has an even worse chin and not as good speed
lol,,,haye has been knocked out and hurt by cruiserweights,,yet his chin is better than wlads who's only been stopped 3 times in 53 fights to legit heavyweights,,in which 2 were due to fatigue. great logic dude

I am excited about him fighting at heavyweight but Im also realistic. some of the talk about people favoring him to beat wlad is just ludicrous to me. his style plays right into wlads hands. you need to have either a good defense or chin to stand in with wlad and I havent seen either from haye

He's got a small frame that is already too overloaded with useless muscle mass; those pecs alone are costing him a weight class and damaging his stamina.

Macca is a much easier than what awaits him if he wins.
exactly. people seem to think all of a sudden haye will have a good chin once he's at a more comfortable higher weight. in reality Ive never seen a cruiser or light heavyweight show a better chin when moving up to heavyweight. in fact,,its usually the opposite in most cases

                Haye was never knocked out.
He gassed (Due to fatigue like Wlad as you put it) and was TKO'ed when he was still a very green pro fighting a very cagey very clever old wily Carl Thompson who himself was almost knocked out in the same fight.
Carl Thompson was well known for his ridiculous recuperative powers.
Perhaps you never saw him fight?
                Or their fight?
Haye also overcame his knockdown to Mormeck which was probably more down to weight issues than anything.
I'm not saying Haye will have a better chin all of a sudden but when you look at Miguel Cotto he has been rocked plenty at 140 and now he is fighting comfortably at 147 he seems to take his shots better.
You have to take into account that Haye will be more mobile than most Heavyweights as well which combined with his punching power and speed will be a great asset.
Truth is any Heavyweight can be knocked out by almost any other heavyweight.
                Remember Buster Douglas?

again,,,,Im not saying haye's chin is glass. I dont think its that bad but its no better than average imo and Ive never seen a guy make it from the light heavy or cruiserweightt divisons to heavyweight that showed even a little vulerability in the chin department at that lighter weight class,,plus haye isnt a good defensive fighter in my opinion. micheal spinks was a very good defensive fighter and was extremely awkward and holyfield always had a granite chin. the odds are against haye

Yes but when you look at todays crop of heavyweights there are no Mike Tyson's , Lennox Lewis' , Evander Holyfield etc etc etc.....
That is why I think Haye has the chance to have a good run at HW.

wlad would be a stylistic nightmare for him in my opinion and even guys like chageav and peter would be very dangerous for him. he does have at least a fair shot at everyone else I think
