It'll be interesting in the rematch to see how much each fighter adapted to one each other. Mayweather's only fought one rematch and he did fantastic in it. If he can get past that jab, I'll be very impressed.

It'll be more interesting to see if Oscar will fight at 147 for the rematch. I've read some places the Forbes fight is at 147, but I'm pretty sure it's at 150.

Am I the only one that isn't excited about a rematch? I paid for the first fight, and although it was a good technical fight, I don't wanna pay for it again. Mayweather-Cotto is not as big a money fight for Floyd, but I think that's what true fans want to see. De La Hoya is a legend. There's no dis*****g that (even if I do despise him). However, he needs to promote full time, or start fighting guys his own size. Golden Boy vs. Pacquiao? Are you serious? Manny's a warrior, and P4P, top 3 in the world. But, come on... give it up, Oscar.

I really like Steve Forbes. The man has tons of heart. I'd love to see him defeat Oscar, but the odds are extremely slim. If this huge upset were to take place though, I think the pressure would be on Mayweather to look elsewhere for his next opponent. I think that's what real fans of the sport want to see. So Stevie, pull out all the stops, and pull a monumental upset. PLEASE!!!

Are you kidding me? DLH won on one card in the first fight and there was another card favoring Floyd by a single point in a fight that had alot of close rounds and you argue that Oscar cant win?
look I aint saying DLH will beat Floyd this time but only a fool would make an insane statement like that knowing how close the previous fight was.

Considering how much all the trash talk Floyd did last time got to him, It's kinda suprising that Oscar would sign to fight him again, now that his closet door has been focibly opened by that stripper.

            Should be entertaining though.

Fight fans we should boycott this rematch/soap opera. Ok now Floyd Sr. is training DLH to beat his son. The first match was boring and didn't live up to the hype. Who really wants to see this again?

Floyd took rounds off in the first bout, he won't do that this time. Where is devious with my points?

Should Floyd-Oscar II prove a much more eventful fight than the first, we'll see a lot of backtracking on this stance after the fact. I'm cautious about the chances of an exciting (as opposed to technically compelling) fight, but expectations are there to be defied. If they can do this thing at welter, ah'ma be very interested to see it.

See how this works? The fight was expected to be the one to save boxing, an incredibly exciting fight that will bring in many fans. It was a good bout, but definitely did not reach it's expectations and live up to the hype it garnered. NOW, this fight is expected to be a snoozer, much like the first fight and the expectations are LOW. It will almost certainly surpass expectations as much as the first fight was doomed to reach them. It will be interesting to see what people say if this fight does turn out to be pretty exciting.

Wrestlemania is sometime in March, the fight is in September, plenty of time to get ready if he isn't do it already.
