      schooled?

i dont call a split decision loss getting "schooled".

it was one round away (on one scorecard) from being a draw...and one more away from a de la hoya win.

i dont call 2 rounds, "schooled".

had it been 10 rounds to 2 you can say "schooled".

dont make it into something its not.

      it was a close fight.

What exactly did you see in the first fight that makes you believe that ODLH absolutely cannot beat Floyd?

I was having those thoughts also until it was confirmed his father was training De la Hoya. I don't think PBF for any amount of money would want to lose to his father.

Mayweather taking part in a pretend wrestling match is neither here nor there and will not have any negative consequences in his rematch with De La Hoya.

It'll have the same consequences as Dancing with the stars did against hatton. He is still remaining active which is what's important. DLH needs to take his fishnet stalking wearing ass and stick to promoting. He has the same chance of winning as his attorneys against the stripper.

Oscar De La Hoya statement on WWE.

Oscar De La Hoya has released his first public statement since news broke that he rejected the offer by World Wrestling Entertainment to appear at WrestleMania XXIV with Floyd Mayweather. "I don’t want to get involved with (pro wrestling), I’m a fighter. My business is boxing. I know boxing. I don’t know wrestling. I’m not a wrestler. I’ve never trained to be a wrestler. So I’m not going to go out there and think that I can wrestle. It was never in my plans." De La Hoya and Mayweather will fight again this September in Las Vegas. Their first fight on May 5, 2007 was by far the best-selling Pay-Per-View event in history with over 2.4 million buys.
