If you are asking why he is not P4P top 5 yet, then fair enough, but...

When you say no organization has him in their top 5, you must forget that the champion of one organization will not be found anywhere in any other organization's ratings system.

The WBA has him as their champion, which means the WBC, IBF and WBO are completely disinterested in him.

He may very well be top 5 P4P in 2 months by the way, and because of him beating Gomez. But after two months, 2 of the top 5 P4P fighters are going to inevitably lose, because #2 Pacquiao is fighting #3 Marquez and #4 Hopkins is fighting #5 Calzaghe. If both losers drop below Cotto, he will be top 5.

I am talking about in the World....

After seven Years why hasnt he reach the level of one of the TOP 5 fighters in the World...

Floyd did it in 3 years after turning Pro...

Whats taking Cotto so long if he is fighting better competition..??and if he is suppose to be able to beat floyd...
As I mentioned.. MOST fighters DO NOT MAKE THE TOP 5.. That does not however mean they suck.. After 7 years Cotto has achieved more than MOST fighters do..

You have a selective veiw of things my friend... and I am seeing so many cracks in your armour.. where once you were imflappable.. you now get riled and angry...

                #5 p4p.

and 2 division LINEAL champion, not 2 division vacant belt winner.

The answer to the original question is “who cares” not trying to compare Cotto at the same point in Floyd's career, because that is not going to take you anywhere.

If Cotto is so Good, and if he has Fought TOP Competition...

WHY havent he never been consider a top 5 fighter yet after 7 years...???

*Something is wrong with this picture.... If Cotto is so good then why isnt he getting NO RESPECT...

*He has been a pro since 2001 and still havent been consider a top 5 Fighter yet...

So WHY WONT ANY Creditable boxing writer or Organization wont even put Cotto in their TOP 5....

Can somebody answer that question please...

Boxrec dont even have him in their TOP 25 LET ALONE TOP 5

                    Reason:

Cotto is not TOP 5 p4p caliber yet....
Because he is not fighting TOP P4P Caliber fighters

Cotto fights all Medium RISK - Medium Reward fighters

                    Remember:
Floyd Mayweather was ranked 2th on P4P List in Only 3 years of After turning Pro Number 1 in his Division
                    (http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.ph..._Ratings:_1999)

FACT IS..Cotto is incomplete... He is not TOP 5 p4p caliber yet

He is no threat to Mayweather yet...And I know AFTER MAYWEATHER BEATs him People will say this exact Thing..

This is why Mayweather is waiting untill SOMEBODY feels like Cotto is a TOP 5 fighter and a Draw..

There you go you lil *****.
