Fighters who have a good outside game are more likely to be successful in multiple weight classes than those who rely on strength and pressure.

Chavez had more to him than just his pressure, he was a very clever stalker who picked punches well and had good subtle head movement.

And Duran just had the whole package, plus he tweaked his game a bit as he got older.

I thought it was pretty special that Toney was able to compete at such a high level with bigger guys while spending so much time on the inside. That shows you how tough he is and how clever he is on the inside.

Coincidently i have been learning a Duran combination at the Gym not my idea but the trainers it is very effective though , Jab move your head slightly to the left to slip the counter jab & throw the uppercut then the right hand

Toney & McCallum were such craft fighters u just knew they would outlast most people around thier era's ,Floyd may be able to fight well into his late 30's if he choose to he has the style to do that IMO
