If not for injuries Kessler would've won.

Joe missed a lot of sparring before the Lacy fight due to injury, and it didn't affect his performance.

Kessler would not have taken the fight with little sparring unless he still felt at least 99%.

No Kessler was beating Joe that night, Joe was just too good, he had that extra gear and changed his style about 4 or 5 times.

Yeah it wasn't even close anyway. Calzaghe could have even knocked Kessler out in the 8th.

Kessler certainly wouldn't fight with through any injury in such a high stake bout.

Yup Joe said it was 50-50 weather he would have to pull out of the fight.

Calzaghe beat Bika with his right hand 10rds with a broken hand and still took him to school.

If Kessler was that badly affected he would have pulled out.

Would you fight Joe Calzaghe with one bad hand? not as bad as people make out just as Kessler said hand had no baring Calzaghe is a tough guy to fight he kills your boxing then hits you with 20 punch combination.

Perhaps u don't know Frank Warren. If team Kessler asked for a postponement the fight would definetely be off and Kessler would have missed a career payday.

He said before the fight he had no such hand injuries and he certainly didn't fight like he did so therefore there is no need to speculate about this anymore. It's the same thing when he had a back injury against Mundine, it's his fault if it costs him.
He never had a back injury against Mundine.

He probably had a sore back one night. Fighters bull**** this stuff to sound better.

He went 12 rounds. Threw more punches and jabs then he usually does ( i had showed figures previously). He was expected to stop Mundine, but he only won by 4 rounds and it was more like Mundine lost that fight rather than Kessler won it.

Kessler is talented. But Joe C will beat him any day of the weak. Joe C is easilyt he best fighter from the MW divisions up in the world. Kessler is second to me.

As I said originally: 2 weeks of the most important sparring down down the drain... Any top pro would say that it'll cost you dearly.
