I think the point deduction was fair since he hit low at least four times and was warned plenty. You subtract that from the equation the fight would have been a draw. To the people complaining about the 12th round knock down.. If those ropes wouldn't have been there or he wouldn't have grasped them he would have went down either way. He could have stopped the fight at that point since he was half way down and getting hit so I felt ruling a knock down was the right thing to do. I had it a draw, I could see the fight going either way though.

Izzy says he is game for a fourth.. I think they should fight some other guys before fighting each other again if it goes to the 4th. Seeing this guys fight back to back I think they need a break from each other.

I would consider that a knock down.. look how he is slouched, glove about to grace the canvas, only thing stopping him is his hand hooked on the ropes. SOMETHING WHICH YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO.

if the ref hadnt given him the count izzy might have finished him, so in a way marquez caught a break. if you had it 6 rounds to 6 shouldnt it be a 1 point victory for izzy?

Because of the point being taken away (for hitting on the beltline a few times) I had it a draw. Otherwise Marquez wins by a point. I am amazed that so many people thought it was a clear run away for Vazquez. I think some people just figure whoever is hurt the least at the end of 12 rounds wins. I actually like to score the fights round by round, you know, the way you are supposed to score fights. I can see a close fight either way, but I cant understand people with the really wide scores.

The fight was so crazy so awesome and action packed that I stop trying to analyze who won or lost a round. I just sat back and enjoyed it for the GREAT fight it was. To be honest I didn't think scoring would matter either as I really didn't think it would go the distance.

I had a bet on Vazquez (points and real money) and I seriously would've happily paid up had they given it to Marquez thats the type of fight it was.

It was a great fight, both of them deserved the fight but in the end there had to be one winner and I think Vazquez deserved it a little more, at the end of the day, these two put on the best trilogy we have seen in a while and in my eyes both of them are winners.

wait.. im confused. lol I had Marquez up by a point but that low blow is what made it even. I was rooting for Vazquez but I had Marquez up (without the deduction) still I feel the deduction was fair though because he should have gave it to him on the 3rd time he gave it to him on the 4th. He hit him on the hip.
