15 Round Fights

Based on what you're saying here he would have conserved enough energy through making it "less exciting" and could have surged JUST like that in the 15th round.Actually.. a shorter fight encourages more excitement, regardless of what the shorter fights were implimented for. You have less time, and more energy towards the end of the fight. Why WOULDN'T you fight harder?
Does ANYONE think that Vazquez could have surged QUITE like that in the
15th round? I doubt it, highly.Comment

And they also would have fought differently in a 15 round fight. One little thing, changes EVERY big thing. I'm not saying he wouldn't have. What I wonder is, is it needed? I say, no.
Get over it. 12 rounds. Both fighters know this, they train for it and fight it. It's pretty simple ****.Comment

I agree with what you're saying pretextually, but that data does not suggest that in any sort of way. The evidence says it's no different.Comment

I agree they train for 12 round fights although I think Vazquez could have gone 15 if he had to.And they also would have fought differently in a 15 round fight. One little thing, changes EVERY big thing. I'm not saying he wouldn't have. What I wonder is, is it needed? I say, no.
